The stage is set for yet another round of discussions and network building as the world’s largest gathering of marine fuel executives returns with a new agenda offering the latest in global bunkering.
Built on the theme of “Powering Global Shipping: The Marine Fuels Challenge”, SIBCON 2008 focuses on the commercial environment for shipping to assess the future bunker demand, as well as to hone in on the challenges, from IMO led developments that focus on the future of low sulphur fuel oil demand and availability as well as at the investment required, cost and the commercial impact of regulation led developments viability of shipping moving towards a distillates based marine fuels.
